Our vision.
In the long-term, our vision is two-fold: we want to see more women in senior roles in the diplomatic community and more opportunities for young women to engage meaningfully with the diplomatic community.

Our impact.
Over the past six years, Girls Run the World has empowered over 250 young women at 51 diplomatic missions – with almost half of the Embassies and High Commissions in Canberra having participated in the program.
In 2023, we had 28 diplomatic missions host 55 participants across October and November. Before beginning the program, only 37.5% of participants felt confident engaging with the diplomatic community, 45.8% believed that they knew what a career in the diplomatic corps looked like, and only 50% believed that a career in diplomacy was accessible to them.
